Homely and well furnished 2-bed near Tufnell Park

I’m a live-in landlord renting out a room in my two-bed, 1 study, 1 bathroom flat. I’m hoping to find someone I’ll really get on with: a considerate, easy-going professional who could become a good friend! I’m 29 and work 5 days a week at a consultancy.

The flat: I’ve recently bought and renovated this 1st floor flat and have put a lot of love into it. It’s warm and light, and honestly a little sanctuary! It's within a peaceful gated community with communal green space, and the flat comes with a parking spot. I like to keep it clean and calm, and I’d love to share it with someone who values that too. I’m still in the process of getting everything together, so there isn’t a dining table and chairs just yet... though I should have that sorted within the next month or two! There's also got a few more homely touches on the way (think art and rugs). Whoever moves in, I want them to feel properly at home here.

The room: A comfortable double of 102 square feet, furnished with a double bed and mattress (full bedding provided if you need) and a large wardrobe. There’s plenty of space to make it your own still. The room looks out onto a leafy view.

The location: a 10-minute walk to either Tufnell Park or Archway stations. Hampstead Heath is only a 15-minute stroll away, which is a dream if you love the Heath + the ponds as much as I do! Lovely cafés, shops and green space all on the doorstep.

A bit about me: I’m a working professional and out during the day. In my spare time I love to cook, potter about the flat and stay active, with Pilates and dips in the Heath ponds being firm favourites. I’m sociable and would love a flatmate to share the odd meal or Heath walk with, while also keeping the flat the peaceful sanctuary it is. My ideal person strikes that same balance: friendly and warm, but respectful and tidy.

Ideally you’re someone who’s out most of the day like me, a non-smoker, and not a big drinker or party-goer, and someone who leans towards an active, wholesome way of living. If a quiet night in, a home-cooked dinner and a weekend swim sound like your idea of a good time, we’ll get on well! 🙂
