Double room in relaxed flatshare

Double room, west facing (has sun/warm afternoons)

My name's Emily and I'm looking to sublet my double room for one year from December 2026 to Dec 2027 (+/- a week or two if needed) as I will be moving to Italy for one year.

It's a pretty good size 3rd floor flat in Tulse Hill between Brockwell Park and Tulse Hill railway station, on bus routes but you can't hear a thing from the bedroom at the back, which is brilliant. I've been here 7 years (so far so good!) with one of my best friends who is funny, caring, intelligent, cultured, musical, relaxed at home, but enjoys making the most of London to visit new places/exhibitions etc.

The bedroom is about 3.5m x 4.5m and fully furnished (double bed, wardrobe, several sets of drawers, and shelves), with extra shelving in hallway for books (I can put mine in storage).

It is next door to the bathroom which has a bath and shower.

The living area is an open plan kitchen, dining, lounge, with plenty of space for cooking in the kitchen, a round dining table for 4 people, and a sofa and an armchair in the sitting area. Plenty of space for two people sharing, and to have a few friends round for dinner (not great for big parties though unfortunately!).

Fixed bills included are Council Tax (Band C, Lambeth), water and internet.
Heating and electricity included but will be £30-£50 higher (each) per month in winter. We submit meters, etc!
