Room in a cottage off Brixton Hill

The room is a spacious double room in a 2 bed 19th century cottage. The room comes with the oak bed, mattress, drawers and built in cupboard as pictured.

We are a couple in the other room, there is an ensuite in our room so the bathroom pictured which is downstairs would be all to yourself.

The road is a quiet dead end road that doesn't feel like you are in London.

There is a large living room and a dining room joined to the kitchen with a front and back garden for use.

Rent is £950 and bills are split between 3 of us so come to £187 - total £1,136.42 per month.

Included in the bills we have a cleaner come every other Wednesday to do the communal areas so the house is always clean and you can apply for a permit parking on the road if you have a car.

We are a very chilled couple, looking for someone respectful and easy to live with! We love going out to gigs and raves and hanging out with friends on the weekend, but like to chill on weeknights and cook dinner and watch TV! We are both big readers so tend to be in bed chilling and reading on a week night. Preferably looking for someone who works in the office most of the time, and if WFH has a desk in their bedroom.

The house is a 20 minute walk to Brixton underground and the Victoria line, with busses frequently run into Central London from Brixton Hill. Closest train station is Herne Hill or Tulse Hill - both about a 25 min walk.

10 minute walk from Brockwell park and a short walk from the Elm Park Tavern pub which is around the corner!

I work in finance and Matt works in the NHS, both in the office 4 days a week.
