Mon - Fri let

**New Ad pics incoming 08/11**

Hello! I'm looking for a Mon-Fri lodger to take up a room from Jan 2027 onwards. I've priced at £500pcm with a view that someone may stay up to 4 nights per week but happy to discuss.

About Me

I am an academic and tend to socialise or go for an evening walk/run weeknights. Happy to have a little chat in the evenings but will give you space - I understand how it is after a long day at work :)

I live in a first floor flat in a converted terrace - I have one lovely neighbour above (with a cat) and a couple below. The street is a mix of families and professionals, it's quiet and feels clean/safe.

I work at the University of Sussex so am used to commuting for work and have been a Mon-Fri lodger when I worked in Bristol. I've recently moved back to London and love the area (just 5mins to Brockwell Park for evening runs).

Travel/Amenities

For travel:
- Tulse Hill (Thameslink) is a 7min walk - easy access to Blackfriars, City, Farringdon, St Pancras; other trains go via London Bridge.
- Herne Hill is a nice 15min walk through Brockwell Park with trains to Victoria (via Brixton)
- Brixton is 20mins by bus if you need access to the tube

Tulse Hill itself has a Co-Op, Tesco Express, two decent pubs (The Railway does great pizza) and there's a nice coffee place at the station. If you work in the City and want convenience, it would work well.

Pets

Unfortunately I can't accept pets. I live in the flat with a small (well behaved) dog - his name is Whistler. He's great with other people but wouldn't bother you much. He is not allowed on furniture and I keep him in my room overnight. He's hypoallergenic and does not shed but if you have severe allergies this flat probably isn't suitable for you.

Renovations

My flat had been rented for a long time before I bought it this summer so I am in the process of giving it a refresh - mostly painting but I will be having a new kitchen fitted in Jan/Feb. I will have a schedule firmed up soon and will then know more how this might affect a potential lodger. New wooden flooring is also being fitted throughout. I appreciate this may be off-putting but it shouldn't be too disruptive for someone at work all day but do let me know if you have questions.

If you are interested I am happy to send a video of the flat in the first instance and then we can arrange a call.
