.Double room in friendly family home. We have two girls aged 11 and 14 years old and a dog - I'm a teacher and my husband is in I. T. He works from home. The house has a typical family atmosphere - sometimes noisy (the kids and their mates!), sometimes quiet. Very rarely noisy late at night. We are pretty easy going overall.

It is quite a big (3-storey) house, so there is plenty of space and we have a gorgeous garden which we use a lot in summer for BBQs and meals.

Once a week a cleaner comes to keep things under control. We have all mod cons as you would imagine. Washing machine/tumble dryer/dishwasher/microwave/wifi/ Netflix etc etc. Oh and a trampoline, table tennis table and full-size electric piano - essential items!

We are 3 minutes walk from Tulse Hill train station which goes to the South Bank in 11 minutes and the city in 15 minutes.
Brixton with its tube and nightlife is 10 minutes by bus or 20 minute walk. We are walking distance from a number of lovely parks including Brockwell Park and Dulwich Park. There are a number of sports centres and swimming pools both indoor and outdoor within a short distance as well as a 24-hour gym and a yoga studio both about 5 minutes walk away and a variety of restaurants/pubs etc within walking distance.

We like to cycle and play sports. We tend to spend most of our weekend days out and about with the kids and dog. We go away for most school holidays.

The room we are renting is at the back of the house on a separate first floor landing and slightly separated from the rest of the rooms - so pretty peaceful. It overlooks our lovely garden. It is fully furnished with bed, bedside cabinet and light, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and lots of shelving. There is also a wall-mounted TV. It is next to our upstairs bathroom.

Alternatively, we are also open to a Mon-Fri let at a reduced rate.

Gabrielle our last housemate is moving out after 18 months.
Prior to that, Vicky, our previous housemate left recently after 4 years with us. Our housemate before that was with us 3 years. We have always enjoyed our housemates' company.

We also have a labrador called Jasper who is 4 years old. He mostly sleeps but will demand cuddles and steal food given half the chance.
