Sunny room to let in Upper Clapton

We’re looking for a (hopefully) long-term flatmate to join us in our sunny 3-bed flat in Upper Clapton from early August, might it be you?

About the flat:

- On the 3rd floor accessible with a lift
- The room is the biggest one in the flat and comes furnished
- No steps in the flat
- The rent is £880 and the bills are between £60-100 depending on the season
- Available from early August
- We go through an agency, but they’re pretty chill and quick to react
- Shared bathroom (with a window!)
- Living room/kitchen
- Council tax band B

Who lives there now:

There’s Chiara (she/her), who works part-time in stables and in hospitality and who’s planning to start her PhD very soon. She studies wine, makes a great cocktail, speaks a bunch of languages, and is very handy at fixing stuff around the flat!

And there’s me, Charlotte (pronouns are a work in progress). I work part-time as a freelance translator and in retail and am planning to apply for a master’s as soon as I have a free minute. I talk about queer history a lot, have too many books, and regularly bring back Korean food from work.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone in our ages (late 20s-early 30s), maybe even another mature student so we can dodge council tax 😃
But mostly, we’re looking for someone sociable and clean and that’s about it! We’re both pretty busy but we’re always up for a chat or an outing at the pub if we happen to be around at the same time. We’re also wanting to turn the living room into a cosier space, so if you have a creative spirit when it comes to interior design, send a message our way!
