Double room in Hackney

Hey there! I’m Max, currently living with my two flatmates, Claire and Steve. I’m moving out of my room in Hackney at the end of November and am looking for someone to take my place :)

The Room
Spacious double bedroom with plenty of natural light.
Comes fully furnished with a double bed (frame and mattress), wardrobe, chest of drawers, under-bed storage, and desk.

The Flat
Located in the heart of Upper Clapton, with an 8-minute walk to Clapton and Rectory Road stations.

A 15-minute walk to London Fields and Broadway Market, plus a short cycle to Hackney Wick, Dalston and Victoria Park.

Fully furnished flat with a large outdoor space, perfect for hosting people in the summer or working outside.

You’ll be sharing a bathroom with Claire and Steve, but it’s always well-maintained and clean.

Your Flatmates

Claire works as a professional and has a flexible working schedule. She loves design, pottery and cooking at home.
Steve is a teacher who’s always out playing sports and is away from the flat during the workday.

Claire and Steve are both in their late 20s. We’re all pretty chilled-out, friendly and relaxed, so we’re looking for someone with a similar vibe. The flat isn’t a big party flat, but we do get along well while leading pretty busy lives.

Bills Breakdown
Council tax: £172/month
Electricity: Approximately £120/month
Water: Approximately £80/month
Internet: £33.50/month

Rent: £1,125/month for the room, plus bills, which are split equally between the three of us.

The Location

The location is fantastic and has been one of my favourite parts of living here!

Lots of great pubs and wine bars in Upper Clapton, Hackney and Stoke Newington.

An 8-minute walk to Rectory Road and Clapton stations.
Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafés nearby, with Morrisons, Whole Foods and Sainsbury’s all less than a 10-minute walk away.

Clissold Park and London Fields are both around a 15-minute walk away.

Tenancy Details

You’ll be taking over my current agreement, which is a joint tenancy between all three tenants.
