A room is becoming available in my basement flat in Victoria Park Village, Hackney, right in the heart of the village and just moments from Victoria Park.

I’ve lived in the flat for nearly 3 years and love it here. The location is great and we’re surrounded by cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops, with everything you need pretty much on the doorstep. Victoria Park is also right next to the flat, and the Regent’s Canal, Broadway Market, London Fields and Columbia Road are all within easy walking distance.

I’m a female in my early 30s working in construction for a group of creative studios. Outside of work I’m also an artist working mostly with sculpture, I regularly go to the gym and have recently started pole dancing classes.

I’m looking for another female of a similar age/lifestyle to share with. Ideally someone who is also a working professional, friendly, considerate and tidy, and who wants the flat to feel like a nice home.

I’m looking for someone who enjoys having their own life and space but would also be happy to have a chat, go out for drinks or dancing and occasionally do things together rather than living completely separately.

The room available is an unfurnished double room. There aren’t any built in wardrobes but there’s space in the hallway for additional furniture if needed.

Some of the living room furniture belongs to the housemate that is moving out. I will be getting a few more bits but if you have anything you’d like to bring we can discuss this also.

Deposit: TBC from estate agent but usually 4-6 weeks of rent
