Furnished double room available in a friendly home in Walthamstow from 1st September 2026. £900 per month, including all bills.

We’re looking for someone who works in London and is looking for a comfortable weekday base, rather than a traditional full-time room rental.

The room

* Secure bike storage available in the garden shed
* You’re welcome to leave your belongings in the room over the weekend, so you don’t need to pack everything up and take it home each Friday

The room is best suited to someone who works from the office most days, with the desk available for occasional WFH when needed.

The room is currently undergoing a refurbishment, so photos will be uploaded shortly. If you’re interested, you’re very welcome to arrange a viewing and come and see the room and home in person.

The house

You’ll have access to:

The house is in Walthamstow with great transport links into London:

* 10-minute walk to St James Street
* 20-minute walk or around 7-minute bus journey to Blackhorse Road
* 15–20-minute walk or around 7-minute bus journey to Walthamstow Central
* Easy access to the Victoria and Central Lines and Overground (Suffragette and Weaver lines)

Monday–Friday arrangement

This is specifically a weekday lodger arrangement, with the expected nights being:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, with departure on Friday morning. We are also open to other arrangements for less nights per week and reduced rent pro rata.

It’s ideal for someone who lives outside London or further out of the city and wants a comfortable base during the working week.

You’re welcome to leave your belongings in the room over the weekend.

About us

We’re a couple, aged 28 and 32, and we live in the property ourselves.

We’re friendly and sociable but also value having our own space. We’re looking for someone who is clean, considerate and respectful of shared spaces and who will fit comfortably into the household.

This is a lodger arrangement within our home, rather than a self-contained flat.
