Spacious room in a Krishna devotional home — £500

We’re looking for a female flatmate who would enjoy living in, and respect, our Krishna devotional home, which also serves as a spiritual centre for our community.

The room is spacious enough for a double bed. Currently, it comes with a single mattress but no bed frame.

Rent is £500 per month, including bills except Wi-Fi.
A £500 deposit plus the first month’s rent in advance is required (£1,000 upfront in total).

We’re around a 10-minute walk from Walthamstow Central, with access to central London via the Victoria line. The journey into central London takes around 30–35 minutes.

About our home

We have a lovely garden, a spacious kitchen and two showers. The bedrooms are upstairs on the first floor, and the downstairs living room is used as a temple room.

As this is a sacred space for us, we’re looking for someone comfortable with the following:

- You must be vegetarian with no eggs (pure veg), or vegan. Onion and garlic must not be cooked in the house.
- Occasional visits from a boyfriend are welcome, but frequent visits would not suit the household, as this is a female only house.
- We host regular spiritual gatherings, including bi-monthly kirtans, and sometimes welcome visiting spiritual teachers or gurus to speak.
- Cleanliness is important to us, and everyone shares cleaning responsibilities equally.

If this sounds like a home you’d feel comfortable in, please send us a little about yourself. Questions are very welcome!
