Double room in Walthamstow Village – £850 pcm + bills

I’m looking for a clean, respectful and easygoing housemate to share my lovely home in the heart of Walthamstow Village.

The house is 1 minute from Orford Road, around 3 minutes from Walthamstow Village and only 3 minutes’ walk from Walthamstow Central, with the Victoria Line and Overground connections. There are loads of great pubs, restaurants, cafés and shops right on the doorstep.

The room is a generous double (approximately 3.5m x 3m), with a bay window, and comes fully furnished. I’m happy to change or remove furniture if you’d prefer to bring your own.

The house is a converted ground-floor property with a large open-plan kitchen/dining and living space, a recently renovated bathroom and a garden. Three people will share the bathroom.

The road is reasonably quiet for such a central location, with the end of the road blocked off and lovely neighbours.

I’m an artist, painter, gardener and general jack of all trades. I work at different times and sometimes from home. I enjoy music, films, cycling and generally making the most of London.

I’m looking for someone who is social, friendly and considerate, and who wants a home that feels relaxed and sociable rather than just somewhere to sleep. I’m also fairly eco-conscious, so basic things like recycling and not leaving lights and appliances on unnecessarily are appreciated!

Rent: £850 pcm

Council tax (Band B) and internet are included. Gas, electricity and water are additional and shared between the housemates.

I’m flexible on the exact start date.
