Double room in Walworth near tubes and park

We are looking for a new flatmate to join our 3-bed houseshare in Walworth, SE17 with rent starting on 1st August.

This nice double bedroom comes with a wardrobe and has ample space for a desk to be set up if your job involves an element of home working. The modernly furnished flat is the downstairs of a three storey off Merrow Street set on a quiet tree lined courtyard.

Both Kennington and Elephant and Castle stations are about a 15 minute walk away giving you access to both branches of the Northern Line and Thameslink trains. Walworth high street is 3 minutes, the Lidl 5 minutes and Burgess Park 5 minutes away.

We are two 27 year old men who tend to work from home 3 days a week each.

We enjoy sticking on some TV in the evening, whether it’s a prestige drama, the football or the latest dross pumped out by Channel 4, as well as going to the local pubs (some of the best pint prices to be found in Zone 2) and restaurants from time to time.

We’re looking for someone friendly, clean and fun who is up for joining in but also has their own things going on. Someone who works a typical 9-5 schedule would be ideal with a preference for at least hybrid rather than fully remote working.

Bills tend to come to around £125 per person per month (water, gas, electricity, tv license and WiFi) though this will vary through the year. The two of us split the bills and will ask you to pay the difference monthly on Splitwise.

For household essentials and cleaning we tend to work on the assumption that we all do our bit rather than having to set up rotas!

There will also be a £50 admin fee to add a new tenant which we will split three ways.
