Double with private bathroom

My lovely lodger is off to his next chapter in life so I am seeking a new housemate to join me in the flat. I have a modern double bedroom with a private bathroom available in Wandsworth. Having spent most of my life renting, I know how stressful it can be and how important having a place to call home is. I have rented out rooms at my previous home too and do my best so you feel it’s your space to enjoy too.

The Space:
• Your Room: Double bed, built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers, dressing table (can be used as work desk), and chair.
• Your Bathroom: Private use of the main bathroom directly next to your room, featuring a rainfall shower/bath.
• Privacy: Our bedrooms are on opposite sides of the flat.
• The Flat: Open-plan living/kitchen with an 8-seater dining table (great for hosting) and a south-facing balcony with views over South London.

Location:
Right behind Wandsworth Town Station (get to Waterloo in 15 mins). Please do check you are happy with the proximity before enquiring.

Old York Road is on your doorstep with plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs.

About Me:
I work in Higher Education Operations and tend to keep fairly active. Most mornings you'll find me at the gym, sauna, or cold plunge before work. Outside of work, I'm a regular at a weekly chess club, enjoy a good book at BookBar, and can often be found at my favourite Chinese BBQ spot.

I'm usually out and about exploring about half the time but do enjoy a good series binge on the sofa too.

About You:
Looking for someone tidy, laid-back, and positive who's after a long-term home rather than just a room to rent. It would be nice to live with someone friendly where we can have a good relationship, socialise from time to time, and also happily do our own thing.

I've had a good mix of male and female housemates over the years and haven't usually had a preference. However, as my last two housemates have been male, I'd ideally like to share with a female this time.
