2 double rooms in friendly Wapping flat

Two double bedrooms have become available in our 4-bed Wapping flatshare as two flatmates will be moving out! The flat is on the first floor, has a very nice, spacious living room that gets a lot of light, one toilet and one separate shower room. My flatmate (Kid) and I (Lauren) are both students - I'm doing a PhD in Film Studies, and they're a PPE BA student focusing on philosophy and political economy. We would generally prefer to live with other students, but we're open to all.

We're good friends and are leftists, are interested in politics, history, and culture, and are into music, film, and reading (the usual), and it'd be great if we had flatmates with similar interests and values, are clean and tidy, and would want to hang out occasionally - Kid has a great budding collection of war board games - though we're still mostly doing our own thing as we're pretty busy, and are respectful of each other's space at home.

Rent is £825pcm, and in our experience bills tend to be around £45 a month. You'll be taking over the contract from 11 March 2026. This is, notionally, an Assured Shorthold Tenancy that runs until 11 October 2026, though the Renters' Rights Act will from 1 May abolish fixed contracts, so it will become periodic. We would prefer to live with tenants who are looking to rent in the longer rather than short term. The deposit is equal to one month's rent. Both rooms are furnished. We have a furnished kitchen and we also have a washing machine and a dryer.

We're just a few minutes away from the Wapping Overground station and just over ten minutes to Shadwell station, so we're really ideally located and have excellent links to central London.
