Short-term room + separate loft/office – Maida Vale / Little Venice – £1,150 incl. bills

I'm looking for someone to take over my furnished space in a shared flat in Maida Vale (W9) for a short-term let, available from 1 September until 15 October.

It's a slightly unusual setup as you'd have two separate private spaces across two floors.

Your bedroom is on the second floor, and on the top floor you'd also have a separate private loft room, which I currently use as a home office. It's particularly handy if you work from home, as you don't have to work from your bedroom.

The loft has a sloped roof with lower headroom around the sides, but there's a good-sized central area with normal headroom. It's currently set up as a home office/additional living space with a desk and chair, and there's also lots of eaves storage.

The loft also has its own private bathroom, exclusively for whoever takes the room. So alongside the bedroom, you'll have a separate private office/living space and your own bathroom. The main kitchen/dining/living area is shared with the other tenants.

The flat itself is spread over several floors, so it feels spacious for a house share and there's a good amount of separation between everyone's rooms.

You'll be sharing with Baz and Will, a couple who are both working professionals, and Saya, another professional. Everyone's very chilled and friendly, always good for a chat when you're around the flat, while also doing their own thing and respecting each other's space. It's a relaxed, easy-going household rather than a party house.

The area

The flat is in Maida Vale / Little Venice, a quiet, residential part of West London that's still very well connected to central London. You're close to the canals and Little Venice, with plenty of cafés, pubs, restaurants and shops nearby. Warwick Avenue (Bakerloo line) and Royal Oak (Hammersmith & City and Circle lines) stations are within easy reach, with Paddington also nearby.

It's a great area if you want somewhere relatively peaceful while still being able to get into central London quickly.

Dates & rent

Available 1 September - 15 October, with a minimum stay of one month.

£1,150 for one month, including all bills. If you'd like to stay longer, I'm flexible on the exact dates up to 15 October, with additional days charged at £37 per day, bills included.

Would be ideal for someone who's between tenancies, temporarily working in London, new to the city, or looking for somewhere short-term while getting settled in London.

Happy to answer any questions, send more photos/videos, or arrange a viewing either in person or by video.
