Flat
*****
I’m looking for a new lodger to build a cosy, tidy and peaceful home, as my current housemate of two years is moving away from Ealing into her own flat.
The flat is bright, spacious and has lovely wood flooring throughout (except for tiled bathrooms).
Your room would be on the second floor and has an en-suite bathroom with your own shower, toilet and sink. It's a gorgeous and bright double bedroom furnished with a bed with storage under the mattress, a desk and a brand new wardrobe and chest of drawers. The room has a juliette balcony and gigantic sliding windows which overlook Dean Gardens.
The living room is super cosy and welcoming, and the kitchen is well equipped with plenty of storage space for two people, and includes a washing machine and dishwasher.
Transport
********
- Short 5-7 minute walk to West Ealing Station (on the Elizabeth line it’s a direct 15 mins to Paddington, 30 minutes to Liverpool Street)
- 15-20 minute walk to Ealing Broadway Station (Central and District lines as well as overground trains), 20-25 min walk to Northfields.
- Plenty of bus stops at a stone's throw from the flat - buses every few mins to main stations (Ealing Broadway, Northfields)
**NO PARKING** - unfortunately residents of the flat cannot apply for parking permits.
Area
********
- Excellent amenities - basically everything you'd need a short walk away (gyms, groceries, DIY, supermarkets incl. Tesco, Sainsbury's, Lidl, Iceland, Co-op, Waitrose etc)
- Buzzing local area, with restaurants, bars and pubs nearby
- 15-20 minute walk to Ealing Broadway shopping centre
- Lovely and green Dean Gardens right opposite the flat
- 15-20 minute walk to Walpole, Lammas and Ealing Common parks
Housemates
*****
You'd be living with myself, a 28 year old female working professional. I work flexibly between the city and home (2-3 days in the office). I have a partner but we live separately and he will only occasionally be around as I tend to go to his place.
Keen to build a friendly and respectful co-living situation - I am often busy outside of work but I love a cosy movie night in, pottering around the flat to make small improvements, and socialising with our lovely neighbours (flats 1-4).
Accessibility
*****
Unfortunately, the room does not have step-free access as there are steps to access the flat and within the flat too.
For full transparency, the bedroom can be a bit noisy at times as it is directly on a main road. If you are highly sensitive to noise, please consider whether this would be the right place for you. I have had long-term flatmates who have found no issue with it at all but it is probably the main issue I would note about the room if it is something you are sensitive to.
