We are looking for someone to stay in our flat from 1st March - a bright, cosy flat in leafy West Hampstead, on the ground floor in a 1930s small mansion block. The flat is centrally located close to shops and restaurants, with easy transport access, and is stocked with everything that you would need. It is ideally suited for 2 people, children also welcome.
We are leaving a month before the end of our contract, so are looking for someone interested in either a -
a) One month sublet from 1-28 March, or
b) A longer term let (6+ months) from 1 March onwards.
If you are interested in a sublet, we can do this for £2000 for the month (inclusive of all bills). This would ideally suit someone visiting London for work, study, or looking for a longer term base while they find their feet in the city. Otherwise, the rent is £2100 per month + bills - for longer term stays, we will put you in touch with our private landlady, who is very accommodating and lives locally.
The flat is very cosy, with a comfortable living room, a small but well stocked kitchen, bathroom with shower over the bath, a large double bedroom and a good sized single room - this has a single bed and desk for home working. Washer-dryer, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, full fibre broadband (150 Mbps), and smart TV with Netflix. Original wooden floors in hall and living room, carpet in the bedrooms, full double glazing, independent gas central heating. The apartment overlooks a communal rear lawn.
The area is unparalleled for transport (underground Jubilee line, overground lines, Thameslink and several buses within 5-6 minutes walk). The area is really nice, very safe, quiet and leafy, but near buzzing West End Lane and Finchley Road, with cafes, pubs/bars and restaurants (lots!), nice shops, supermarkets, cinemas, gym/pool (10-15 min walk), and weekend farmers market. The apartment is centrally located in Zone 2, a 45 minute walk from destinations such as Notting Hill and Hampstead Heath, and just a 15-20 minute train ride from Kings Cross, Blackfriars, London Bridge, etc.
