Double Room in West Hampstead - £900 a month

Hi! I have a furnished spare double room available from the 16th of November in a 2-bed flat on Messina Avenue NW6, within Zone 2.

​The Flat & Vibe

You’ll be sharing with me, a 34-year-old woman. I work hard and very much have my own life and routine. I’m looking for a clean and tidy flatmate who is similarly independent. Ideally I'm looking for someone who I can relax in the lounge and watch The Traitors with mid-week, but who also enjoys their own space too.

​My current flatmate is moving her things out, so I'm looking forward to making the shared spaces feel clean and cosy.

​The rooms in this flat are on the smaller side, so my current flatmate and I share a desk in the lounge for working from home. Because of this, the flat isn't suitable for someone who works from home a lot. I currently WFH one day a week, so we would just need to coordinate our days.

​The Room

The room is £900 a month and comes furnished with a large built-in wardrobe and storage.

​The Area & Transport

You really can't beat this location. The neighborhood has lots of coffee shops, restaurants, charity shops, supermarkets and cinemas, and is incredibly well connected:

​7-minute walk: West Hampstead stations (Jubilee, Thameslink for direct trains to Gatwick/Luton/Brighton, and the Mildmay Overground).

​15-minute walk: Kilburn Park (Bakerloo) and Kilburn High Road (Overground).

​You can easily walk or jump on a bus to Queen's Park, Maida Vale, Primrose Hill, Hampstead Heath, and Notting Hill.

​The Details

​Rent: £900 per month (excluding bills)

​Bills: Approx. £180 each per month (covers internet, water, TV licence, gas, electric, and Council Tax). The flat is Band D (I will double check this) and we pay £221 a month for 10 months of the year.

​Available: 16th November
​WFH: Not suitable for full-time/regular WFH due to the shared desk space.
