ABOUT US
✨ ABOUT CRAVO ✨
Cravo is an 8-year-old Portuguese rescue dog and everyone’s emotional support
He:
* loves literally everyone
* greets people with dances and weird noises
* becomes deeply heartbroken every time someone leaves the house
* is constantly searching for cuddles/snacks
He’s very chilled and well-behaved at home and rarely barks. The only exception is when he’s playing and temporarily transforms into a tiny lion.
He cannot WAIT for a new flatmate.
Vanessa (me):
35, queer, vegan, work for a VFX/animation studio in central London.
I love nature, cinema, theatre and all arts in general. If I’m not working I’m usually:
* on a long walk with my dog
* curled up watching a film
* at Soho Theatre
* trying to make the flat look nicer with plants/art/random creative projects
I’m introverted and I have chronic fatigue syndrome and other chronic conditions, so I don’t always have loads of social energy after work (Monday to Friday I’m out from 7/8 am to 6/7 pm), but I do value meaningful connection and would love to live with someone who feels more like a friend than a stranger. That said, I’m also totally respectful of people who prefer privacy and independence. I’ve lived in house shares for 15 years and I’m used to both dynamics.
A few things I’m always up for:
* dog walks + bakery stop in Brockwell Park or Herne Hill Market
* theatre across the road (just registered to volunteer there!)
* Picturehouse trips: they sometimes do dog-friendly screenings so yes, Cravo has cinema plans!!
I don’t drink, so you probably won’t catch me at the pub unless someone’s getting married or something.
I care deeply about animals, art, peace, quiet and creating a calm home environment.
IMPORTANT:
I’m a Virgo and unfortunately very into astrology, so please tell me your sign when you message
Andrea:
50, works in customer service mostly from home and is currently studying. Mainly vegetarian and doesn’t cook meat at home.
THE ROOM & SPACE
The room:
* generous double room
* west-facing windows
* mostly unfurnished
* built-in rail for clothes
* includes a bedside drawer
* beautiful sofa included
The room is next to the bathroom. We all wake up fairly early, even weekends, so worth considering if you’re a very light sleeper and you think this could bother you.
The house includes:
* small garden
* garage/storage space
* parking outside
* kitchen with dining table
* downstairs toilet
* bathroom with bathtub
* small living room
✨ WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR ✨
We’d love someone:
* kind, respectful and emotionally house-trained
* clean (actually clean)
* not a party person
* veggie/vegan (or at least no meat/fish cooked at home)
* animal lover is non-negotiable
* ideally creative/artsy
* looking for a home, not just a room
* We all have our own pots and pans, plates, cutlery etc so ideally you’d have yours too
The vibe here is quiet and mature. We really value peace and consideration for each other.
We’ve genuinely never had a party here and we’d quite like to keep it that way 😂
Happy with hybrid or fully remote workers.
Potentially open to another dog or cat depending on landlord approval. Indoor-only cats probably wouldn’t work because the garden door is often open.
And just to save everyone time:
this flat is not suitable for right-wing/fascist vibes.
AGENCY REQUIREMENTS
You’ll need:
* payslips
* work reference
* landlord/agency reference
* Right to rent
* Credit check
TO APPLY:
Please tell us a bit about yourself:
* who you are
* what you do
* your lifestyle/values
* your star sign!!!
If you have any questions let me know!
Also viewings will be at the weekend so you can meet me and Cravo :)
All the best!
