Relaxed, friendly house share of three women in West Norwood is perfect for a fourth student or professional or artist. We have a lovely first-floor double bedroom (great bed, nice carpet, excellent storage). Shared bathroom with one other person on the same landing. The open-plan living room is light and airy. There's a sun-trap of a back garden.

We have a cat called Gideon, who is very sweet and friendly. We are a mixed orientation and non-conforming household and would expect someone who's cool with that. All ethnicities welcome.

Transport is great to central London, Clapham Junction, Crystal Palace and wider south London. West Norwood Station (direct to London Bridge, Victoria, Peckham, Dulwich, New Cross Gate) is a four-min walk. Buses to Brixton and Crystal Palace (ride 15mins to Brixton Underground and Brixton Main Station; 15mins to Crystal Palace Overground).

West Norwood is a lovely friendly community with mini-Sainsbury, Tesco, Co-Op and Iceland on the High Street plus a big LIDL at Crown Point. Lots of coffee-shops, hairdressers, bakers, B&Q, a petrol station, and a dozen cafes and great pubs (400 Rabbits pizza; Nyom Siam Thai; Blackbird Bakery; The Great North Wood; Tulse Hill Hotel; Knowles of Norwood; The Railway Tavern).

The Better Leisure Centre (pool, gym, etc) is 2mins walk; Picturehouse Cinema is 4mins walk. Brockwell Park, Dulwich Park, Norwood Park and Crystal Palace Park are each about a mile away in different directions. Norwood Park is a 20min walk.

On the first Sunday of the month West Norwood hosts a fantastic food and gift stall street fair called Feast (Apr-Dec).
