A bright and spacious double bedroom is available for single occupancy in a 3 bedroom
maisonette apartment, a mere 15 min walk from Canary Wharf (about 1.5 Km or 0.9mi). The room is available from 01 February onwards or a bit earlier if needed.
The room
The room is spacious, warm, bright and well furnished with a double bed, big wardrobes, big desk, desk chair, full length mirror etc. It is priced at £480pcm, paid at the beginning of each month, plus bills.
The flat
The flat is modern, bright, comfortable, warm and safe with 3 balconies and an attic. It is part of an ex-council estate that is occupied by a healthy mix of young professionals, families and retirees. It is fairly quiet and people are generally friendly and welcoming.
There is a big, well equipped kitchen, a medium sized bathroom and a small WC. Sadly, there is no living room in the flat as it has been converted to a bedroom but the kitchen and the rooms are big enough to socialize in.
The flat is privately owned and the landlord is friendly and amenable to our needs.
Location
Located less than 5’ walk to Westferry DLR station, 10-15’ walk (1.5 Km) to Canary Wharf station (Jubilee line) while several buses taking you to the City and West End, Angel, Old street, Mile end, Victoria Park etc stop right outside the estate.
There is a small grocery shop right at the bottom of the stairs, a small tesco within a 5’ walk and of course the very many shops of Canary Wharf.
The flatmates
You will be sharing with Thanasis, Li-Jing and a third flatmate (male), all professionals in their late 20s/ early 30s.
A few things about us:
Li-Jing is from China and is in teaching, music and management. When she’s in the mood she makes excellent egg-fried rice.
Thanasis is Greek and works in luxury residential estate management; he can’t cook to save his life but is an expert gamer!
Giannis is a physical education teacher frtom Greece and new in London so he'll need good flatmates to show him the ropes!
We’re easy-going, friendly and responsible and generally lead quiet lives. We enjoy a welcoming, relaxed and well-organized home.

We’re looking for someone who is responsible and considerate but easy going and friendly. You can be a professional or a student, a man or a woman, young or young at heart.
Most importantly we are looking for someone that will integrate well into our household.
