Double room available in a spacious Victorian maisonette in W12, arranged over the top two floors of the house.

The flat is a 3.5-bedroom, with 1.5 of the rooms used as offices. You would have your own double bedroom, private bathroom and separate small office, which is perfect for a hybrid working setup.

The flat is fully equipped, finished to a nice standard and has a large shared living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a private rooftop terrace, which is great for drinks, dinner or relaxing when the weather is good.

My girlfriend Emma is moving to Paris, so I’m looking for a flatmate as the place is simply too big for me on my own. She’ll still come back to London occasionally, and I’ll also regularly be visiting her in Paris.

A bit about me: I’m French and have been living in London for 7 years. I work in finance with a hybrid schedule, splitting my time between the office and working from home, and I also travel quite a lot. Outside work, I enjoy travelling, trying new restaurants and going out for drinks with friends.

I’m ideally looking for another professional with a similar lifestyle: sociable and easy-going, but also independent and respectful of each other’s space. It would be nice to have a drink or dinner together from time to time and for the flat to feel like a home, rather than just two people renting rooms.

The neighbourhood has lots of nice restaurants, pubs and bars nearby, which I’d be very happy to show you around. It’s around 13 minutes’ walk from White City and Shepherd’s Bush Market stations, with the Central, Hammersmith & City and Circle lines nearby, and around 10 minutes by bike to Notting Hill and other great parts of West London.

Rent: £1,450 pcm

We have a cleaner who comes once a week for 4 hours. Housekeeping is mandatory and costs £72 per week in total, split equally between us, so £36 each per week. This includes cleaning of the flat and ironing.
