I’m moving out of this lovely house after 3 years to live with my partner and looking for someone to replace me. Bright upstairs double sharing with 4 young professionals.
The house is tucked away just behind Wimbledon Chase on Cannon Hill Common, a very nice, safe and quiet neighbourhood close to amenities (including small Tesco/Co-Op 2 mins away), and with plenty of greenery and parks nearby (one of them right opposite in fact). I have absolutely loved living in this area!
In terms of train stations, it’s just a 3-min walk to Wimbledon Chase station and also a 15/20-min walk or short bus to Wimbledon, South Wimbledon, Morden, and Raynes Park stations - so you’re spoilt for choice for routes into central! There is also on-street permit parking if required.
You would be sharing with Chloe, Tom and Jason, all young professionals who are great people. They’re a friendly and sociable bunch who like to chill in the lounge/watch TV together some evenings, but also have busy lifestyles and value their own space and downtime too.
Modern kitchen and bathroom (2 separate toilets), large living room + conservatory and garden which are lovely in the summer. A huge bonus is that there are 2 spare rooms in the house, perfect for occasional visitors. One of these is right next to the bedroom and you would more or less have sole use of it - it serves as a great separate WFH space.
Rent is £820 pcm excluding bills which usually come to around £150/£200 (Council tax Band F), including a fortnightly cleaner (£25 each pcm).
Whilst the room comes unfurnished, I would be happy to leave some of my furniture behind for a small cost and this can be discussed during the viewing. This is relatively new IKEA furniture in perfect condition.
Available for move-in from 9th August, but can be a bit flexible. The landlord has been extending the contract every year since the tenancy began in 2022, and it is now on a 2-month rolling basis following the introduction of the Renters’ Act.
