I’m looking for a new housemate to join me in my lovely flat in SW19. The room is a good-sized furnished double bedroom with a double bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers, with plenty of storage space.

The flat itself is really spacious for London, with a large open-plan living room and kitchen, plenty of natural light, a dining area and a balcony. There’s also a shared bathroom and lots of storage throughout the flat.

The flat is in a great location in Wimbledon Park, with Wimbledon Park and Wimbledon stations both nearby. Colliers Wood is about a 15–20 minute walk away, with easy access into central London. There are plenty of shops, cafés, pubs and parks within walking distance, with a big Lidl, Starbucks and Wickes all within a 5-minute walk. We are in Merton Council tax band, all the bills on top of rent often come out to an extra £200/month. So often rent and bills is around £850/months which fluctuates

I’m an actor and also work in a West End theatre as stage crew, so my schedule can be a little varied. I’m looking for someone friendly, respectful and easy-going who wants a nice home. I’m clean and tidy but definitely not obsessive, and I’m always up for a chat, a drink or watching something together — but I also really value having our own space. I’m also a bit of a geek and love my video games haha.

Please note: this is an L&Q Intermediate Market Rent property, so the successful applicant will need to meet L&Q’s eligibility and referencing requirements. The household income needs to fall within L&Q’s permitted range. It’s an annoying extra requirement unfortunately, but it can’t be helped! I’m happy to explain the criteria to anyone who’s interested.
