Double in bright, spacious LGBT house

Hey queers!

We have a large double room going in our shared house in Wood Green (N22). It’s a short walk from Wood Green station. It’s a large and very well maintained terrace house with three bedrooms total and two bathrooms (only one with shower). There is a back garden where we’re growing sunflowers and roses, and ample storage in our back shed, as well as additional storage in the house. For the size and quality, the price is really great!

£800 pcm + bills (around 100-150 depending on time of year)

Long term (looking for at least 1 year commitment to stay, minimum 2 months notice to break)
Accessibility: terraced house with staircase to bedrooms (16 steps - main bathroom on ground floor, second bathroom on upper floor. No intercom system. One step out into back garden. There is a doorbell. No lift. Not scent-free.)

About us: we are Morgan and Sion. Morgan (she/her) is a trans writer and filmmaker, Canadian, plays the harp and is a bit witchy. Sion (they/them) is a civil liberties solicitor who likes playing and watching football, chess, hiking and watching tv. They have an adorable (mostly indoor) cat called Llew. Both of us mostly work from home. Morgan bakes a lot, so there is often something to share in the kitchen. We’re a fairly quiet house, not a party palace - but we do love to have the occasional dinner for our friends. We have an extensive library of books. And we’re both in our late 30s.

Our current third housemate is moving out as she has found her own flat to live solo! (Lucky her!) and there are no major problems - no issues with pests, no major mold, etc. The landlord is very responsive when we need things and otherwise leaves us be.

We’re looking for someone queer and/or trans over the age of 30 who is nice, chill, clean, and can pay the rent on time. This is definitely a friendly but grown up vibe here. Ideally you like cats - Llew is very sweet once she warms up to you! We’re not able to add further pets, though, as she really is the Queen of the house.
