Room available in Wood green

Room

We're looking for a new flatmate to take over our third room, as our flatmate is moving out to be closer to his new job. We're hoping to find someone who will treat the place like a home alongside the two of us (me - Allie, & Jef).

About the house:
- The house is an end of terrace, in a quiet location on three levels.
- Big storage room on the ground floor by the entrance, very convenient for bikes
- On the first level, very bright living room and kitchen space, with a lot of sun (from 3 sides). The living room can accommodate remote working (we’ve never had any issues with the wifi)
- The balcony is accessible from the living room and overlooks the garden/lawn.
- Bathroom and toilet are separate.
- The 3 bedrooms are on the second level.

Location:
- We’re a 10 min walk from Wood Green tube station (zone 3, Piccadilly line) in one direction and Alexandra Palace station (Thameslink) the other way.
- There is also a bus stop a 3 minute walk from the house.
- It’s a quick walk to the high road but we don’t get any noise from it as our street is calm and the flat is pretty surrounded by trees.
- We are also close to alexandra palace and park.

The room:
- £670 pcm in rent
- Bills are roughly £100/120 each month
- The room is a single room, with a built-in wardrobe.
- A small double bed can just about fit, but our old flatmate preferred to have a fold out double so other furniture can fit better.
- The house comes unfurnished, the bedroom will be unfurnished but has a built-in wardrobe. The living room is mostly furnished, however, our flatmate who is moving out owns some of the furniture so we are in the process of replacing that.

Flatmates:
- You would be sharing with two professionals aged 27.
- I work in an autistic college and am studying part time. I like reading, baking, crafting and occasional raves.
- Jef is the creative one who makes violins, is in a band, does swing dance, and paragliding.
- The atmosphere in the house is very chilled and friendly. We enjoy spending time together to share a meal / watch films when we can, but equally there’s no pressure when folks are busy.

We are a queer friendly household. We are looking for people like minded to us and respectful.
