Hey,
We're Cameron and Sofia (a couple)! Sadly our beloved roommate is showing exceptional fiscal prudence and moving up North (the economy huh!) so, a vacancy has just opened up. Do you have what it takes to fill the gaping hole left in our lives by his untimely departure?
The flat is a bright, modern 3-bed, 2-bath (one en-suite) new-build, in a quiet, secure compound off Woolwich High Street. There’s underfloor heating (rarely used thanks to excellent insulation), Juliet balconies in every room, and a shared rooftop terrace with great views. The open-plan living/kitchen space is big and full of art—a great spot to unwind or catch up.
The available room is very large—about 15’7” by 9’9”—fully furnished with a bed (with memory foam mattress topper), desk, chair, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. Still loads of floor space left. It has a big door/window Juliet balcony, with a bathroom that is solely for you 99% of the time (except for when guests are around). Want to decorate? You’re welcome to, and we’ve got spare art if you’d like to borrow it.
The location’s unbeatable—just across the road from the River Thames. 2 mins from Lidl and the high street, and under 10 mins walk to the Elizabeth Line, DLR, National Rail, Thames Clipper, and buses to the Jubilee Line. Amazing local Nepali, Somali, and Vietnamese food (and not 1, but 2 Gregs next door to each other for some reason), comedy nights, theatre, and more.
A bit about us: Cameron is a Strategy Consultant with the appropriate dose of internalised shame that comes with it, and Sofia works for the NHS as a Lab tech. Outside of work, Cameron's started dipping his toes into French and Italian opera and Sofia does drama (both of which are generally kept outside the house in the interest of keeping roommates!). We're generally relaxed and tidy, and are looking for someone that appreciates cleanliness, especially in the shared spaces (non-negotiable for Sofia as she tends to be a bit OCD when it comes to messiness!).
Apart from that, we're always up for a movie night, board game, or a pint and hope you'd match that vibe — but also very respectful of downtime and personal space.
Hope to meet you soon!
