Bright & spacious double bedroom in Woolwich

Hi, I'm Valentina, originally from Rome, Italy, and I'm looking for a clean, tidy, responsible, respectful, reliable and discreet female lodger for the bright and spacious main double bedroom in my flat in Woolwich Common, SE18 4HB.

I'm moving to another city in the UK for work from 15 September until around the end of March 2027, so I'm looking for someone I can really trust to look after my flat while I'm away. The room is available for a minimum of 6 months, up to 10 months, and I'm flexible with dates within September and with the end of the lodger's stay. The flat will essentially be yours while I'm away.

The flat is quiet, bright and on the 4th floor, with a lovely spacious balcony overlooking leafy hills — perfect for relaxing, eating or having a glass of wine.

I'll be keeping the studio/guest room for occasional weekends when I need to return to London, but you're welcome to use it while I'm away, as long as you respect my belongings. A lodger agreement will be arranged for both our peace of mind.

A few things to note:

I'm a very light smoker, but smoking is strictly limited to the balcony — no smoking inside.
I have a cat who isn't currently living in the flat, but I hope to bring him back next summer, so I'm open to someone with a cat or small pet until then.
I'm looking for someone who will take good care of the flat and follow my instructions when needed. Regular communication will be important while I'm away.

Transport

Petrie House is around 18 minutes' walk from Woolwich Station (Elizabeth line) and 15 minutes from Woolwich Arsenal (DLR and National Rail). There are also buses directly outside the building connecting to the stations, Greenwich, Crystal Palace and other parts of South London, with excellent connections into Central London.

The flat will be vacant from 15 September. If you move in after that date, we'll need to arrange the key handover before I leave.
