En-suite in an old student accommodation building

Attention! What follows is a fully honest description of the place, coming from the landlord who used to live there and has no interest in sugar-coating anything.

Bills included (except WiFi and TV license), council tax band A (relevant if not student). This is a third floor en-suite with good hot shower and a kitchen shared only with a couple of decent people in an old student accommodation block in Vauxhall. The place is now mostly occupied by non-students and its upkeep is poor, though most things remain quite functional and the place is habitable, and even comfortable if you discount the lack of a lift. The location is attractive, with a large retail park 5 minutes walk away and adequate bus links. Drawbacks? Bins are often quite full as the city fails to collect them regularly. The floor is locked off with a door code, which is good because some people on the lower floors steal parcels and so on. I can vouch for my floor though. No communal internet at present, a fix in the works, but don't hold your breath. Washing machine in the kitchen (provided free of charge, as it should be). There is a double bed (and mattress) in the room, as well as a chair and desk - anything else you might need can be arranged. Available on fairly short notice. I am looking for a responsible, independent, no-nonsense sort of person to move in and keep tabs on the place while I try to improve it remotely (I now study and work elsewhere and can't be in Liverpool very often). I'm ideally looking for at least a 6 month lenancy, but I am flexible. Any questions ask away.
