Mon-Fri Room in Georgian Quarter

Quiet, comfortable weekday room in the Georgian Quarter .

I have a room available in my home for a mature adult, ideally a woman, who needs a peaceful place to stay during the working week.

The room is offered on a short-term, Monday-to-Friday basis, with the possibility of extending the arrangement if we find we are compatible. This is a room in my home, with a shared bathroom, rather than a long-term flat share. I am opening my home to help with energy costs and to offer someone a safe, comfortable space for a short period.

My home is close to Liverpool city centre and local amenities, making it a convenient base for a professional working nearby.

The room would suit a working person who keeps approximately 9am–5pm hours and is out during the day. I use the lounge as a therapy space, so the arrangement is not suitable for someone who needs to work from home or stay at home during the daytime.

I’m looking for someone who is clean, tidy and respectful, and who would appreciate a quiet household. It would particularly suit someone who, like me, is generally up early and enjoys an early night.

I work in education and have retrained as a counsellor. Over the years, I have hosted several lovely short-term guests, including professionals and PhD students, so I am used to sharing my home while respecting people’s privacy and boundaries.

I also share my home with a quiet little dog, so you would need to be comfortable around dogs. He is never left at home without me.

Please note that my home is on the top floor of a Georgian house so you would need to be able to manage the stairs.
