An opportunity to rent a single room within this 18th century fisherman’s cottage, located in the coastal village of Parkgate on the Wirral Peninsula.
The cottage is in a prime location, just steps away from the promenade and overlooking the Dee Estuary with incredible views across to North Wales. Fun fact: from here you can see the peak of Moel Famau, one of the highest hill’s in North Wales!
Along the promenade there are plenty of pubs, cafes and bars and a short 3 minute drive away is Neston high-street.
Nearby train stations include Neston, Spital, Hooton and Capenhurst with good links to Liverpool, Chester, Ellesmere Port and North Wales. Buses also run regularly through the village.
The cottage itself is cosy, with a small sitting room and a kitchen with an open seating area. Upstairs, the room for rent overlooks a small courtyard and is equipped with single bed, chest of drawers and a clothes rail. The bathroom is shared with a bath/shower.
This is a beautiful place to live with plenty of country walks along the Wirral Way and only 4.5 miles to the nearest beach (there are 4 to choose from within a 10 mile radius!)
For veterinary students: the cottage is located 2.2 miles and a 9 minute drive to Leahurst Campus.
For medical/healthcare students: the nearest hospitals include Arrowe Park (Wirral University Teaching Hospital), Clatterbridge and Countess of Chester, with Royal Liverpool Hospital a 30 minute drive away.
