DOUBLE BEDROOM AVAILABLE. PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE MESSAGING

Looking for a flatmate to make use of the spare room for when current lodger moves out. Room will not be available until July at the earliest.

The bedroom contains double bed, two side tables with drawers, chest of drawers, and drawers under the bed, as well as a wardrobe so there’s plenty of storage space.

The shared area includes main bathroom with bath and shower attachment, kitchen and living room. Kitchen includes washer/dryer and fridge freezer. Living room contains what you’d expect in a very large TV and a couch.

The flat is located about a 20 minute walk from Tesco supermarket as well as cables retail park. Also located a 5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop and roughly 30 minutes walk from the nearest train station. There is also free parking at the building itself.

As for me, I’m an out gay man so the flat is very LGBTQIA+ friendly, though I will consider anyone who makes an enquiry as I’m open to living with anyone so long as you’re not insane.

I am friendly and like to be social, so a flatmate who is open to the odd chill night with some good TV, Films or Gaming helps make for a more relaxed living environment. The right flatmate is important for me, so if you want to go for the room, I would appreciate some information about you and your interests so I can get a decent gauge on whether we’d be compatible. Way I view it, if we couldn’t get along after meeting in the wild, we’d have a hard time living together.

If you went for the room, I would expect general personal cleanliness and contribution to general cleaning of the shared areas too (bathroom /kitchen etc). Rent is to be paid on the date of your move in, then the same date each month and must be paid, any exceptions must be agreed beforehand. Due to previous bad experiences, I have a zero tolerance approach now to people messing me about over paying.

While I will consider pets, I’m ideally not looking for someone with pets as I have a cat myself and anything that could cause conflict for him would be a no go.
