I’m thinking about opening my home up to a lodger, I live in a large four-bedroom house in West Derby close to Alder Hey. It’s a quiet, chilled house. There’s just me here full time, and my young son who stays here with me a few nights a week. The room I’m offering is a large, airy and light loft room with a king size bed and fitted wardrobes. It’s on its own floor of the house so you get a whole level to yourself. It’s a nice quiet space with two Velux windows so you can always see the sky.

I work as an electrician and a writer so I’m generally pretty busy with some sort of project, or I’ll be out and about doing something outdoorsy. I also travel a bit at times so there may be times you have the place all to yourself. I know I’m biased but I love my home, it’s got loads of space, high ceilings, a large kitchen and back garden. I’m not drink/ party orientated, more of a nature junkie/ book worm. I do play a little acoustic guitar, but the walls are so thick you’ll never hear me.

Ideally looking for a female lodger, someone professional, polite, respectful and emotionally mature who likes peace and quiet too. I keep a clean house, so if you’re scruffy/ untidy it won’t work out between us. I pay a cleaner to come in about once a fortnight and blitz the whole house, so it's really easy to just stay on top of things in between those cleans.
