Double room for single professional/med student

We are a friendly, young at heart, married couple whose 4 children have flown the nest. Chris works predominantly from home and I work shifts in RIE (approx. 5 miles away).

We live in a quiet cul-de-sac with close Lothian Bus links into Edinburgh city centre (7 miles) /RIE/Edi Uni/Edi Coll of Art. Approx. 30 min walk to Eskbank train station (serves Edinburgh & Scottish Borders-BGH). 3 mile drive to Sheriffhall Park n Ride and A720 Edinburgh City Bypass - links to the west (Heriot Watt/Napier), SRU Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh Airport/Glasgow/Fife and the east/A1 (QMU). On-street parking is available and occasional use of our driveway may be possible. We could provide storage for a bicycle.

We have a double bedroom available for rent (non-smoker) with built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers and sole use of main bathroom (bath & shower). Small computer desk available if required. Bills and wi-fi are included.

We have a large kitchen/diner - you would have your own fridge and shared freezer/washing machine/tumble drier/dishwasher/cooking facilities. You would also have use of two communal sitting rooms however we spend most of our time in our snug (Sky TV) so the main sitting room (Freeview TV) would be mostly for your sole use.

Our lovely rear garden is a sun trap during the spring and summer months, and we have nearby access to countryside walks/cycle paths. There are several good pubs/restaurants within 20 min walk and two small/one large supermarket nearby. 15 min walk from Lasswade Leisure Centre and 3 miles from David Lloyd Leisure (on bus route).

Lastly, we live with Cooper, a friendly and lively 6 year old English Springer Spaniel who is looking forward to having an extra person to spoil him!
