Room in bright flat near trams

I'm Jon, and I have a newly-refurbished double bedroom available in my upper villa flat in Carrick Knowe.

The property is fully furnished and the bedroom has a brand new double bed and clothes rack, plus I'll be adding a bedside table. There's a large walk-in cupboard that can be used for storage, plus there's the possibilty of storage in the attic.

There's shared access to the kitchen, bathroom and living room. All bills, including Council Tax, are included.

My ideal flatmate would be out at work/university during the day, potentially away at weekends, mainly because I tend to work from home during the week.

It's not a party flat, but total silence isn't required - I'm a film buff and often have the TV on in the evening. The living room is shared, and I'm just as happy having a chat and watching a movie as I am giving you your own space.

There are two sheds if you need bike storage, plus a large garden with washing line.

Saughton tram stop is just 5 minutes away, as is the number 1 bus stop. It takes 15 minutes to cycle into town. It's a 10-minute walk up to Corstorphine, where the Citylink to Glasgow stops and there are various buses into town. Tesco Extra and Lidl are 15 minutes away on foot, while the Gyle and Hermiston Gait are close by.

St Margaret's Park is less than 10 minutes away, there's a library nearby and all the usual amenites are close by.
