I'm looking to let my guest room to a quiet non-smoker - ideally a female postgraduate exchange student visiting Edinburgh for a few months.
My home is a peaceful and spacious flat in a leafy area with excellent transport links nearby. You'd mostly have your own bathroom (shower over the tub, not ensuite), unless I have a friend staying for a few days. The kitchen has a dishwasher which makes sharing easier (no microwave though!).
As well as many bus routes nearby, there's several small supermarkets, plus a shopping centre at Cameron Toll (large Sainsbury and Aldi supermarkets) all in walking distance. The Commonwealth Pool/Leisure Centre and Arthur's Seat/Holyrood Park are also nearby. You can walk to Edinburgh University at George Square or at King's Buildings, take a bus to Edinburgh College of Art, Queen Margaret University or Edinburgh Royal Infirmary if you're a medical student.
I work in the National Health Service and am interested in theatre and art. A quiet home is important for me and also out of respect for my neighbours - it's definitely not a party flat and please, no overnight guests unless by prior agreement with me. Happy to chat and give a guided tour of the flat online and I'd like proof of ID please and proof of your student status.
Sorry: no couples or pets, and there's no garden access.
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy your time in Edinburgh, wherever you choose to stay.
