Double bedroom to let

I'm looking for a kind, considerate, queer friendly, dog friendly and clean lodger for my second bedroom.

The newly decorated room is compact with a new small double bed, chest of drawers, shelves and desk, and a lovely view.


About the flat:
The flat is in an old tenement with a spacious living room, decent sized bathroom and a small kitchen. The flat has stunning views onto Arthur's Seat and Calton Hill and is very bright. There's a well-maintained shared garden at the back and Pilrig Park is just across the street. The Water of Leith is about 400m away - ideal for walks, cycling or going for a run.


About me:
Ive lived in Edinburgh for 10 years and really love the city. If you're new here, I'd be more than happy to recommend stuff or show you around. I like to socialise with friends, go to the cinema, see shows, go on dog walks etc. I also love cycling and go to the gym regularly.

What I'm looking for:
I work full-time (mostly from home at the moment). I therefore am looking for someone who ideally isn't working from home as well or only does so only some of the time.

My flat is where I relax and recharge, so this is definitely not a party flat. I'm looking for someone who can respect that or has a similar attitude. If we get on really well I'd be happy to discuss extending the maximum stay to beyond 4 months.

I have a newly adopted dog who is very timid with people, so even if you are a big dog person, you will have to give her space and time to get comfortable with you.
