Cosy postgrad flatshare in Newington/Mayfield

We’re looking for a flatmate for a double room available Newington/Mayfield.

Rent is £500 for the room, rising to £525 in November (doesn't include bills which are roughly £30-40). Students or professionals are welcome, but we would expect contribution towards council tax (Band E, split between 4 people by the end of this year).

We are looking for someone to join our flat starting in July but move in date can be flexible. The room is fully furnished, has had a new carpet in the last year. There is an optional desk for the room also.

We are a flat of post graduate/mature students in our late 20s and early 30s - we are all often busy but enjoy a chat when we are together! Not a party flat but happy to have friends around 😊 we keep the flat tidy and have communal chores so new flatmate should be happy to contribute! We’d prefer a postgraduate student or someone a similar age or someone who has experience living in communal flats and is comfortable with open communication.

The flat is just around the corner from two corner shops, 10 mins walk from a Tesco Express and 15 min walk from Cameron Toll where there is a big Sainsburys and an Aldi. 10 minute walk to King's Buildings and about 20 minute walk to central campus. It's a nice quiet building and a peaceful road. There is a back garden and we have a shared storage box room.
