Since this accommodation is within a university-owned building, only postgraduate students at the University of Edinburgh are eligible for application. Bills are included, and there is no council tax due to it being student accommodation.
I am looking for somebody to take over my current contract for an en-suite room in flat B/112, 41-45 Gilmore Place, from now until the end of August. This accommodation is situated perfectly for the city, being an approximately 20 minute walk to the Haymarket train station and the main University library. The King's buildings are accessible by regular buses, with a commute time from the flat of around 30 minutes. Despite this convenient location, the room is quiet at all hours of the day. The property is incredibly safe, with surveillance cameras and access restricted to residents only. I have not had any problems with the eight other tenants of the flat (all male), who are all kind and maintain the communal space well. A cleaner visits once every two weeks to further maintain the communal space, keeping it to a high standard.
The room offers the following amenities:
- Ample storage space; including under-bed storage, drawers next to the desk, wall-mounted shelving and a large book shelf.
- Comfortable 3/4 bed.
- En-suite bathroom.
- Two cupboards in the communal kitchen space.
Rent is £1052.87 pcm. Bills and council tax are included within the rent. Please feel free to contact me for more details, and I look forward to hearing from you regarding this excellent property. Thank you!
