Bright and airy flat off Royal Mile

Hello!

My flatmate is moving in with her partner in the coming months, so I am looking for someone to take her room in this beautiful flat off the Royal Mile. We are a 10 minute walk to Princes St, 5 minutes to Holyrood Park, 3 minutes from Pleasance Gym. The flat is within a lovely quiet community with a shared garden and grassy courtyard. We don’t quite know when my flatmate will move out but I would expect some time in May or June latest.

Rent is £700 a month, with bills usually coming in at around £50, and £155 for council tax each month per person (band E).

I’m looking for a veggie or vegan (or someone who doesn’t cook meat at home), very clean, non-smoker. But besides that, someone friendly and chatty would be lovely! I’m a young professional and work in the Offshore Wind industry, very into reading and art and the gym. Usually I’m quite busy but love a calm, steady vibe at home where we can both settle in.

We don’t have wifi in the flat (it doesn’t go through the tenement walls lol) so you’d need to have a good phone plan! At some point in the near future I am considering adopting a cat, so it would be great if you were a cat person too.
