Double Room - Parkside Terrace

We’re looking to fill a room in our 5-bed flat, ASAP! Unfortunately I’m moving out as I’ve gotten a new job in London but I have lived in this flat for 18 months and enjoyed all of it!

• The Flat

The flat’s primary appeal is its location, just steps from Holyrood Park, Commonwealth Pool, and Newington's shops/restaurants/pubs, and <10 minutes’ walk from The Meadows, Pleasance Gym, George Square, and the Royal Mile. Despite proximity to Clerk St. bustle, our street is itself calm and quiet.

The available room features gorgeous top-floor views of Arthur’s Seat/Salisbury Crags, Old Town, and distant Calton Hill. The room has a double bed, a wardrobe, a dresser, curtains, and a bedside table. The flat is equipped with a modern kitchen (two refrigerators!) and a recently renovated shower/toilet. A small back garden is shared with the block of flats.

Rent is 750 per room per month, ~30 quid monthly bills (very energy efficient), Council Tax Band E (50 per person, per month).

• The Flatmates

We’re a woman and three men (age 23-26) from England, Scotland, and the U. S. We work as engineers, and an accountant! We love to play sports and board/card games, work out, have conversations (life, Edinburgh, politics, music, technology, and culture), go to pubs, and occasionally run little bedroom jam-sessions🎹🎤🎸. We’re a firmly LGBTQ friendly flat. We’re open to flatmates of any gender, but ideally looking for professionals in a similar age range to us. You can expect a relaxed, fun, and social environment, that also quiets down to study and work from home when necessary. Kitchen space can get tight, so we like to keep things neat and clean.
