Double Room in Marchmont for Professional

Hello!

Sadly, our current flatmate Rob is moving out! So we are looking for someone to join us in our spacious and sunny 3rd floor apartment on Marchmont Road, right by the meadows. We are currently two guys, Sam and Luis.

Sam is doing a PhD in genetics/mental health, and Luis is a Data analyst.

The room is large with double bed, sofa, wardrobe, drawers, desk/sideboard. The flat is nice and quiet, but we also like to chat, eat, and watch films/tv together, and more than happy with friends/family coming over. We're clean/tidy and respectful and all those good things! The kitchen has pretty much everything you need, including a dishwasher.

Currently the rent is £666/person and monthly bills (energy, WIFI) are roughly £70 each, plus council tax (band E) which is £83 each. The deposit is £712.50, which goes into a registered tenancy deposit scheme. Our experience with the agency has been very good and they're responsive in having things fixed/replaced when needed.

A bit about us:

Hi! I'm Sam, I moved here from Manchester 2.5 years ago and I'm doing a PhD researching the genetics of mental health. I'm really into climbing, both indoors and outdoors. I enjoy camping and usually go to a music festival in summer. I watch/listen to a lot of podcasts, good films and series. I enjoy finding new hobbies, the latest being darts and disc golf! I also drive, so feel free to join me on trips to Aldi!

And I’m Luis! I am from Spain, but move to Scotland 9 or so years ago. I am currently working for Tesco as a Data analyst at the Gyle. I am passionate about music and literature and always up for a chat. I enjoy running, cycling swimming and outdoor exercise.
