Double room available in Marchmont in an extensively renovated Victorian tenement from early September.

About me: 29 and a long term Edinburgh resident working in financial services. Enjoy swimming, the occasional run, a wander in the outdoors (especially the Highlands), and a nice meal out at the weekends.

About you: I'm looking for a respectful, mature, and clean flat mate who is both mindful of personal space but up for a chat, shared meal or a few drinks - it would be nice to be friends as well as flatmates. As such, you'll be a similar age (27-33), a working professional or a mature student (masters/PHD). Sorry, not looking to share with an undergraduate or couples, and my preference is for a male flatmate. Preferably you will work/studying away from the flat 2-3 days a week rather than full time working from home.

About the flat: Fully refurbished over last 2/3 years, oak hardwood floors, modern kitchen with stone worktops and separate dining table, bathroom with bath/rainfall shower and a large living room. The room for rent is at the rear of the property and looks west onto the communal gardens and contains a fitted wardrobe (8 drawers/1m of hanging space), upholstered double bed with quality mattress, and accent chair. I could swap out the accent chair for a small desk if required.
