Large double room in a lovely central Edinburgh flat – available end of October

I’m moving out at the end of October and looking for someone to take over my room in what has genuinely been one of my favourite places I’ve lived.

It’s a large double room with built-in storage and plenty of space for a work-from-home setup, in a bright and spacious flat with an open-plan kitchen and living room, a private balcony and dishwasher.

The flat is clean and well looked after, so I’m looking for someone who is also clean and tidy. It will be professionally cleaned before you move in.

The main bathroom is right next to the bedroom and, as my flatmate has the en-suite room, you’ll pretty much have it to yourself.

The location is fantastic! The Union Canal is right on the doorstep, with Bruntsfield Links, The Meadows, Grassmarket, Fountain Park and the city centre all within easy walking distance. The Cameo Cinema is on the same street, there’s a coffee shop literally right in front of the building, and loads of cafés, restaurants, bars and shops nearby.

The building also has lift access (the novelty NEVER gets old 🤣), indoor rubbish disposal and a parking space in the garage underneath the building. Despite being so central, the flat is calm and quiet.

You’d be living with my lovely flatmate, who is friendly, considerate and very easy to live with.

I’m genuinely sad to leave as it’s felt like a proper home rather than just a rented flat.

The flat is managed through an agency, so the new tenant will need to provide references, pass the usual checks and pay a deposit.

Would be looking for professionals/post grad student due to council tax reasons, if students are willing to pay towards council tax you will be happily considered.
