Bright Double Room in Newington

Hey! I am relocating to Glasgow for work, and am looking to find a new tenant for this lovely room on Dalkeith Road in the Newington area.

The flat is right by Arthur’s Seat and the Royal Commonwealth Pool, meaning you’ve got a gym on your doorstep. It’s a 5 minute walk from a Sainsbury’s Local, and 10 minutes from a big Lidl and Tesco Express. It’s also a ten minute walk to campus for edi uni students, and there’s a bunch of good coffee shops nearby to work in.

The room comes furnished with a double bed and mattress, wardrobe, chest of drawers, beside cabinet, desk and chair. There’s also a cupboard with a decent amount of storage space on the left. We share two bathrooms and one shower. The kitchen is spacious and has a washing machine, gas cooker, oven and plenty of storage space.

You’ll be living with Yasith, Tibaud and Ahmad, three professional males in their thirties who are tidy and sociable, whilst also being respectful of personal space. I also moved in from SpareRoom and have found them all super friendly and welcoming throughout my time here. It’d be ideal to find someone who’s up for a chat in the kitchen here and there rather than being a stranger :)

Bills are roughly £110-120 per person (£58 council tax, avg £50 gas & electric), although this may rise a little in the winter months. Students are welcome to apply if willing to cover their portion of council tax.
