Long or short term let

We are a British retired professional couple from South Asian background. Children are grown up and moved out leaving the rooms empty. Wish to rent out a Double room to a working professional or to a mature student. We need someone who is friendly and able to socialise when free.

Since we two have our own washroom in the Master BR,  generally the large guest toilet is mainly used by the border. Expected from the new border to keep the common areas tidy and clean and maintain the premises hygienic state.

Apartment is located in the Slateford road in a beautiful location which is very central bordering the city of Edinburgh. Hence, excellent transportation to the city which is only 15 minutes bus ride. Also to the Harriot Watt and Edinburgh Universities would be similar transport time.

Napier University Craiglockhart main Campus is walkable within 15-20 minutes and Sighthill Campus is 5 mints bus ride.  To the Haymarket Railway station it is less than 1 km distance. Haymarket is the ideal spot to avoid the city and the traffic to travel to Glasgow or any other long distance city by any mode of transportation. Tram station is just 10 mint walking distance.

Parallel to Slateford road is Gorgie road and it is only a couple of minutes to Indian spice shops, multicultural food stalls and leading all the Super markets. Aldi Lidle and Sainsbury within 5 minit walking distance and to ASDA 10 mints walk. 

Also for Muslims, there are three Jumma mosques are around the  corner. For recreational activities plenty of facilities in the neighbourhood. Beautiful Saughton Garden, gymnasiums and the Balgreen library are a few of them.
