Sublet – Cosy one-bed Newhaven flat (Dec and Jan)

Hi folks

I’m subletting my cosy newhaven flat for the month of December and half of January, as I’m heading back to Australia for Christmas. 

It’s a one-bedroom number on the third floor, just set back from Lower Granton Road waterfront but with a view out over the Firth from the bedroom window. 
Kitchen and living room are separate spaces, both with big south-facing windows onto a wall of green, with plenty of sun (when it pokes through the clouds). The place is warm and cosy in the colder months, heating is reliable and the windows are double glazed. There’s even a rain shower in the bathroom.
I’ll put my clothes and bikes in storage, but leave everything else you would need to live here comfortably.

Bus 16 runs into the city from the front door, the 17 goes the other way out to the airport (door to door!) and it’s a 10-15 minute walk to the Newhaven tram depot. The big Asda is also about 15 minutes walk away, and you’ve got the Old Chain Pier and Starbank Inn just down the road. The base of trinity path is right around the corner for those cycling into the city, and I make the walk to my work on the shore in Leith in 30-35 minutes along the waterfront (great way to start the day). Wardie Bay is also only 10 minutes along the waterfront, for those of you that are looking for a spot of winter swimming.

The flat will be available from November 30 to January 14. Ideally I would like to get someone in the whole time, but open to negotiation with the right person who can make it for most of the period.

Can only offer the sublet to people who are able to inspect in person and are able to do a meet and greet, just to suss the vibe.
