The room is available from 28 October- 28 December. Shorter stay or full term both welcome.

The room
The room is a double bed with a brand new mattress and bed, and a desk if you need one for working. There is a large cupboard in the room with a hanging rail for clothes.

The flat
The flat is a 2-bed, ground floor flat with a big private garden. The living room and kitchen are spacious and bathroom is shared with a bath and shower. The bedroom has a lock.

I have a parking space with room for 2 cars- you will need to be comfortable with reversing into the space, but it’s free if you can!

The location
The flat is in a terrace in the flower colonies in Shandon. The area is lovely, next to a park and a 5 min walk to the canal. There are good grocery stores and cafes a short walk away. There are really good bus links into the town, it’s a 25 min walk to haymarket train station and about 10 mins by bus, and 15 mins to princes st by bus.

A little about me
I’m Michaela, I’m 38 and own the flat. I like to walk, go to the gym, read, cook, eat good food, travel, socialise, and I love a good podcast, tv show and the occasional wine. I’m friendly and like to chat, but also appreciate downtime.

I work as a lawyer, and primarily work from home. My wifi is excellent and if you need to work from the flat too, that works well (my previous flatmate and I both worked from home and it was seamless).

My beautiful dog Ozzy is your other flatmate. He’s a collie cross and is a big softie and loves walks and pats. He’s very well trained and is a sweet little man.

The practical details
Rent: I’ve put the flat at £225 a week, this includes all bills. The flat is council tax band D.
Parking: as above there is a 2 car parking space, and I have a car- you can make use of the other space if needed.

Length of stay: the flat is available from 28 October- 28 December. I’m open to shorter or longer stays, and the deposit is negotiable depending on length of stay.

A bit about you: I'm welcoming of people from all backgrounds and walks of life, and LGBTQ+ friendly. The most important thing to me is finding someone considerate and respectful who'll enjoy living here, and someone who likes dogs, as Ozzy will be in the flat too.
