We have a room in our house which we let on a flexible but defined term basis, but please note that due to the new Scottish legislation on short term lets we can't consider anyone who is visiting for less than 3 months and will need to enter into a formal Tenancy Agreement.

It's available ideally from mid-August, but this is negotiable.

The house is in the Cameron Toll area close to the Royal Infirmary and Kings Buildings, and not too far from Central University. There are excellent bus links from Cameron Toll.

It is a large (3.6 x 2.6 m) furnished single room with a trestle bed (so bed pulls out to a 6 foot or two singles if you prefer or have a visitor stay over but the room is cramped if you have it up all the time). Also bedside table, dressing table, wardrobe and desk.

The cost is £700/month. This includes all bills including council tax if relevant, and use of bed linen, towels etc. You have the use of the rest of the house (2 living rooms, dining room, family bathroom which we don't really use except for drying clothes and is immediately next to your room so effectively yours, shared shower-room, garden).

We don't hold a deposit, but do need confirmation of your position for a reference, and the first month's rent to secure the room.
