Single room to rent in Meadowbank area (EH8) available now.

£650 per month on a long-term basis (or £200 per week if shorter term). Includes bills and wifi. A contribution to council tax (Band C) depending on your situation.

A Mon-Fri arrangement would also be considered.

I am away for around half the time, so you'll often have the place to yourself. The room doesn't have a desk in it so is not really suitable for home working.

In a peaceful tenement building close to Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Park. Large kitchen/dining, shared bathroom and living room. Shared garden. The room itself has a comfy bed (John Lewis mattress and feather duvet), fitted wardrobe, cupboard and bedside table. I don't have a TV, but wifi is included.

When I am here, I work from the living room during the day. I’m easy going and happy to share an evening meal occasionally. A previous lodger lived here for two years and said the flat (and my company!) worked out great for her.

The flat is on a quiet street, unrestricted on-street parking and is very well served by numerous bus routes. The bus to Princes Street takes 15-20 mins, or you can walk through lovely Holyrood Park to the city centre in 35-45 mins.

A large supermarket is just 5 mins walk away. The local neighbourhood includes Barista Coffee shop and L'Angelou French bakery for amazing croissants and fresh bread. Edinburgh ART Palette (St. Margaret's House) is close and a unique arts centre for creative events and classes as well as yoga classes.
